About Us

Hello Flower came about when we bumped into each other at the local flower wholesaler, each with a baby on our hip. After chatting, we realised that we could support and inspire each other as well as create a better work-life balance around our motherhood by combining our passion and love for flowers. We have a natural, romantic, loose kind of style with a wee bit of wildness, letting the flowers speak for themselves.

Supporting small businesses is important to us, so we buy local, seasonal flowers and foliage when and where possible. We have both had formal training in the floral industry and have each had experience running our own small businesses. Ellen has her own business, Wallflower Botanics, specialising in weddings, and Dori owned a shop called The Greenery Florist, which thrived for years before closing it to have her son.

These years of experience have inspired and developed our Hello Flower style.
